Sun shines here nearly year-round, and its a popular place for humans, and dogs alike to have a little fun. Beautiful, clear, blue water laps up on the pristine shoreline, inviting you to come forward. And even better, dogs are allowed. |

South Boardwalk;;The South Boardwalk is the southernmost boardwalk along Venice Beach, and some care to argue that it is also the very best. As you walk along, you will see sights that will amaze you! There are carnival rides and beautiful shrubbery lining the edges. To the dogs, this is a great place to hang out and meet up, as it is with the people who come here as well. It extends far beyond the shoreline, so there's plenty to do and see. |

Vendors;;If the Boardwalk was set in place for all of the sights, then the vending area sure makes up for the smells- and not to mention the tastes! If you're looking for a bite to eat or a place to hang out, then this is the place to come to. Hollywood Boulevard;;Ah, the every famous Hollywood Boulevard. This is a pretty high-end street, God forbid any mutt gets caught raging through these streets. But hey, animal control is tired of chasing after the LA strays, so why not run amuck in the streets, eh? While you're at it, you may be able to get a glimpse at the diva designer dogs strutting their stuff on their way to the next big Hollywood premier. |

Palm Plaza;;Looking for a place to spend your afternoon? Look no further than the Palm Plaza, a quaint little park set in the more residential regions of the downtown area. Here families come to play, and humans will sometimes bring their (as the local strays enjoy calling them) leash-dogs. Anyway, it's a great place to meet someone new or catch up with some old friends, and if you're feeling mischievious its a great place to begin a little madness with all of these people around. |

Lamplight Alleyway;;If you're looking for a shady area of the downtown, look no further than the Lamplight Alleyway. Curious as to know why it got its name? Why, it's from the lone, flickering lamp post that stands high, right in the middle of the alley. Grafiti covers the brick walls on both sides, and disheveled garbage is strewn about here and there. It's rumored that some of the worst dogs, and humans, find their way into the alley at night, the worst time to be in such an area. A band of dogs is also said to be nearby, known for being heartless, cold and rather mysterious. I wouldn't go in here if I were you.[/li][/ul][/blockquote] Sub-board: West Street Warehouse;; |

Santa Monica Hills;;As you continue going east in Los Angeles, you'll slowly come closer to the outskirts of the town, which are a lot less urban than the downtown areas. The Santa Monica Hills even feature the famous "Hollywood" sign. There are some residential areas here, but if you go further in you will enter an area of semi-arid land with low lying plants that lie on the hilly terrain here. You can't say it's very beautiful here since of course it's very desert-like, but if you can find a way to live off the area by catching desert hares and drinking from small pools of water here and there, you're set to go. |

Indigo River Forest Preserve;;A few miles away from the hills you will find the more green and non-deserty area that grows around the Indigo River. The Indigo River is a beautiful river, but could be threatened by pollution in the near future as more companies are looking to take advantage of the river. In this area there is an abundance of trees and shrubs which provide lots of shade. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, and many people come here for recreation. This is also a great area for a thriving pack or band of dogs to settle. |

Mount Lukens;;Located in the northeast corner of Los Angeles, you can find Mount Lukens, which is also known as Sister Elsie Peak. This is the highest point in Los Angeles, which makes it a very notable landmark in the city's geography. The slopes of the summit itself are very steep, and it's a very rocky climb, with a few shrubs here and there.
